Dawn

Dawn is a quiet painting about the mysterious quality of waiting for a new baby to arrive on the planet. The white stork gleams as he wings across the sky with his precious, dreaming cargo. The sides of the cradled poplar box panel are decorated with images of a light house on stormy coast, a farmhouse at night, and a single perfect white feather. These are lovely miniature paintings in their own right which add to the dreamlike quality of the piece. Altogether, it’s a small jewel of a painting, about 4 x 6 inches in acrylic on a box panel.
